Weighted, single blade, one clean pass.

The shave that asks nothing of your skin afterward.

Most razors stack four or five blades and drag every one across your skin in a single stroke. That is five passes where you feel one. The Smooth Operator uses a single, sharper blade that glides once and cuts the hair, instead of tugging at it.

The weight does the work, so you barely press. Less pressure, less drag, fewer of the bumps and ingrown hairs that come from going over the same skin again and again.

A single blade clears soap and hair cleanly between strokes too, where multi-blade heads clog and start to pull.

Comes with 30 blades, enough to keep that clean first-pass shave going for a long time.

How to + ritual

Warm the skin first, in the shower or with a warm cloth. Soften everything before the blade.

Lather well. The blade should glide on slip, never on bare skin.

Let the weight do the work. Short, light strokes, no pressing. The razor is heavy for a reason.

Go with the hair first, then across if you want it closer. Rinse the blade often.

Finish with oil or balm on still-damp skin, and let it settle.

FAQ

Why a single blade instead of five?

A five-blade razor passes five edges over the same skin in one stroke. That is five times the friction, and friction is what causes bumps and ingrown hairs. One sharp blade cuts cleanly in a single pass.

Does a safety razor cause ingrown hairs?

It is usually the razor, not your skin. Multi-blade heads tug the hair and let it retract below the surface, which is where ingrowns start. A single blade cuts level, so there is less of that.

Is it hard to use if I have only shaved with cartridge razors?

No. The weight does the work, so you press far less than you are used to. Light, short strokes, let the razor glide. It feels different for a shave or two, then better.

What can I shave with it?

Legs, underarms, bikini line, anywhere you would use a normal razor. The single blade is gentler on the more sensitive areas, where multi-blade razors usually bite.

How many blades come with it?

Thirty, so you are set for a long time before you need to restock.

Are replacement blades easy to get?

Yes. It takes standard double-edged safety razor blades, so you are never locked into one brand.
